Thanks to an environmental initiative promoted by DoveConviene.it, I can finally announce that our site is now carbon neutral!
The initiative is called "my blog is CO2 neutral" and its operation is very simple: the blogger declares their willingness to reduce the ecological footprint of their site and DoveConviene.it, in collaboration with iplantatree.org, will plant a tree in areas undergoing reforestation.
The beneficial effect of this initiative is guaranteed. In fact, every year a blog or website produces an average of 3.6 kg of carbon dioxide, while a tree is able to absorb as much as 5 kg per year.
